Since 1997 Steve (and sometimes Marion) has made trips to schools in the United States, Thailand and China.
GRADES: K to 8
AUDIENCE SIZE:
20 to 80 is best. Larger groups are ok.
ASSEMBLIES:
K - 2 (40
minutes) 3 - 8 (50 minutes). Interactive exchange with students : Original art, questons, reading aloud, riddles followed by a workshop.
WORKSHOPS:
Draw Aussie Animals: In directed drawing, students capture Australian animals on paper.
Riddle Writing: Using a three-step process, participants
create riddles -- the group unlocks them.
FAMILY EVENINGS:
The program is adapted for an all-age group.
TEACHER EVENTS:
Practical workshops, including the above program, extend
the resources within Steve's books, providing teachers with material
for immediate use.

SET-UP/EQUIPMENT:
Assemblies: Overhead projector with a bright bulb or a data projector.
Workshops: Whiteboard plus writing or drawing materials
for participants.
AUTOGRAPHING:
Steve is available to autograph books at whatever times
suit the school.

Program cost: US$450/day , plus travel and lodging. A "day" is usually 3 programs or workshops
of 50 minutes each (40 minutes K-2).
